windows updates new builds

I have a Sony Vaio laptop , and it appears there are new drivers for my video card . I have chosen to install , but the progress bar is still bare. Upon boot I keep getting that my video controller is not reconized.
Also where is the link for the new builds so that I may update ?

Check the video card manufacturer as well as Windows Update for updated video drivers.
Do you mean the latest Vista build? Unless you are a Technical Beta Tester, TAP etc, the Beta 2 from a few weeks ago is it. Customer Preview Program (CPP) participants will probably not see another build until Release Candidate 1.
