It seems to get a (new build) or update ever so often and you will be required to get it again at some future time. A lot of people are complaining about the Windows update site. They have a good concept and I am sure it will be the norm in the future but they certainly need to work out the bugs. Good luck !

The code that does this is called a 'virtual machine', which MS releases in versions, or 'builds' to the public. Because hackers are always discovering new ways to bypass Java security, it's always a good idea to download a new build of the Java Virtual Machine once in a while, just for piece of mind.

Kenneth The build information and history will not generally be available during the beta. The best you can do is check the Windows Update website from time to time. To make sure you have the most current build, you just go to microsoft.com/ie and check out if there is a new build from time to time.

Strange vista problems...
SDK and the ASE client have the same build paths but are not always released at the same time. For example: 1 - a new SDK and ASE can be released at the same time, So I'm guessing ASE's EBFs do not include updates to client side? And now, I should install SDK's EBF 14847? Will it ruin fixes to server?
